And that concludes my trip!

We spend most of the time (after a delicious Sushi lunch in Shibuya) in the gardens of the Imperial palace.

Probably from teh same area as the last two - same role of film anyway. These were probably closer around the campsite.

We are out of the mountains now well on our way to Hanoi. Still several hours of driving to go though.

This is a picture taken on our way to Coc Ly market. We left Bac Ha in the morning and this evening we will be back in Hanoi. We had to walk from about here because the road was too muddy from the rain.

From early Feb. 1994 in Australia. I can't remember where it was taken (I'll have to look it up in my journal). It was probably on a camping trip, so maybe a several hour drive from Melbourne.

We stopped along the way to Phong Tho to take some pictures.

This was walking north of Bayoun still within Angkor Tom.

The water level was a little low at this time of year. Off to either side, just beneath the canopy of leaves, are little huts for sitting in while you picnic. They line the length of the water on either side a few layers deep.

Today we went to Kirirom National Park. We mannaged to miss most to of the rain.

So we tried climbing at Niagara Glen again. We met with much greater success. And the high humidity kept the rock nice and slimy.

One of the things that we we noticed shortly after we started getting ready to climb was that the place was overrun with ladybugs!
I must have killed so many ladybugs that day.

After some discussion we decided that it looked like it was clearing up and we could head to the nearby Bufallo Crag for some top-roping. We thought maybe it would be less wet - and we'd made such an effort so far it would be a shame not to get some outdoor climbing in. This is the view more or less from the top of the cliff as we were walking in.

This is looking out over the ravine in the distance. You can see how dreary it is, but this picture doesn't show the hail that started a short time after we found shelter.

Meanwhile it is snowing outside on the ducks.

They'd fly about 10 feet away every time we approached by about 10 feet.

I went out today to take pictures. I got a few nice ones.

Spent a few days in Martha's Vineyard with my family. This is the beach at the end of the day.

On the last day in Switzerland we climbed up into the woods on the hill behind Zurich.

We took the ferry from Geneva to Nyon. This was taken along the way. It is the North (Swiss) side.

Heading west now on the boat, having turned around. The sun is setting. These are the French Alps as I am now looking at the south shore.

We went climbing at Dog Lake today. The rock was sandstone which was neat. Unfortunately my battery ran out before I got any good climbing pictures (and I forgot my other battery). I found this tree at the top of the rock on the lake side.

The ice is starting to melt.
